The contractors at KNC Granite were hired to replace the countertops inside an older model home in Gaithersburg, MD. Both the kitchen and the bathroom needed to have the counters replaced. The property owner decided marble was the material of choice for the installation. The experts at KNC Granite came to the property to provide an estimate. Measurements were taken from the kitchen and bathroom, then a rough estimate was given.

After the customer came to our showroom to select the stone slabs she wanted, we scheduled an appointment for the installation later that week. Our professionals cut the slabs and delivered them to the property a few days later. The first room we got started on was the kitchen. The client expressed she wanted to have the counters replaced, along with the backsplash she had running along the countertops. The contractor got to work on removing the tiles from the wall and the countertop. The customer had a newly installed kitchen island, which needed a countertop. It currently didn’t have one.
The installation was quick and easy beyond that point. The old materials were hauled away by our professionals as a courtesy to the elderly homeowner. Next, was the bathroom, which needed to have the counter replaced on the vanity. It was one vanity with two sinks. The sinks were removed and then the counter. The countertop was then installed. The customer chose a black marble slab for the bathroom.
The entire project only took us one day to complete, since it was a simple replacement of two counters.
